$495 AF for for Prestige also recently got billed. I've called maybe a dozen times over the past few months and haven't gotten a single retention offer. Frontline reps have only offered to product change to a different card. If a retention offer is available, they will still transfer you to an account specialist/retention rep but won't transfer if there isn't anything. Since I was transferred over with my Access More card, I had the specialist look if my Prestige had any retention offers. There were no offers, so I think the lack of retention offers on the Prestige is a real thing and not them trying to avoid transferring Prestige card members to the retention dept.
Have you called after the AF posted? Haven't called in on my Prestige yet. AF posted in Nov. I'm thinking about waiting until January to use the $250 air credit, and then calling in to downgrade to a Rewards+ and get a prorated refund. I think that should get me $371.25 AF refunded.
