I had to wait 40 mins as they kept prioritising other bags and I asked to speak to someone was passed from pillar to post then told my feedback/complaint wasn’t valid as it was my fault I left the contraband in.i was fuming so tweeted Manchester Airport and they only sent mateyboy to the BA lounge that said they wouldn’t log my complaint. After an initial period of awkwardness we had a decent conversation. The problem is Manchester Airport are blind to criticism so no way it’s going to change. I’m told staff search is just as bad.
I guess. But I would think most people who do HBO would know not to take an iron as there will be one available at their hotel. I find MAN T3 security almost a breeze compared to the ambience of T1 security where all that is missing is dog handlers with muzzled Alsatians guiding you into the holding pens to go along with the yelling. It truly is a hellish airport
