Firstly, thank you for taking time out for reading this thread - I greatly appreciate it!

Would any FTers know if there is way to bypass the 100,000 Marriott annual cap for inter-account transfers? I cannot find the link, but in 2018 there was an interesting article (via The Points Guy) about being able to transfer in excess of 100,000 points between accounts within a single calendar year if it was for an immediate redemption. Unfortunately, however, for the life of me I cannot locate this article for love nor money, or, indeed, the original link to the Marriott site where this information was public.

The reason I ask the above is that I was hoping to transfer 70,000 Marriott points from my mother's account to my own, but she has already transferred 92,000 to me in 2019, so I imagine that I will receive short shrift from Marriott if I called up to request this transfer.

Any advice/help would be most welcome and very much appreciated!
