Take everything out of your bag that could be deemed to be an electronic item, including headphones, chargers etc. Put everything that could possibly be a liquid into your liquids bag, eg a solid lip balm. It's ridiculous the extent you need to do this compared to other airports, but necessary in order to avoid secondary screening - they were specifically saying that hairdryers and straighteners needed to be removed last time i was there - I've never heard of this at another airport (not that I was carrying either). On every belt there was a long line of trays waiting for secondary screening, it was ridiculous, thankfully having taken the above steps mine sailed through (once the queue of secondary screening trays had stopped blocking the scanner).
Try DUS for this and more. I had a member of security staff scream at me in German for not removing EVERYTHING from my case, even though had checked with her colleague whether to remove certain items. A passing policeman noticed as I asked her quietly and politely in German why she was being unnecessarily rude. The Policeman told me if I didn't like it, I could always get a bus. If you enjoy your private parts being fondled, then go to FRA to experience it if that is your fetish.
