That's slightly confusing. If you stayed at a Courtyard, eligible charges should earn 10x plus status bonuses.

In addition, if you use a Marriott branded credit card to pay for the stay, you would earn additional points. 6x is what you might earn from using a basic Marriott branded credit card on spend at a Marriott property.

So did it count as eligible spend and if so, did you get 10x credited to your account from the stay itself, including the theme park tickets? Or did it just count as Marriott spend for the credit card and you got 6x from using the Marriott branded credit card?

If I had to guess, I'd guess the hotel didn't count it as points eligible spend on the folio but Chase or Amex did credit it as Marriott spend so you got 6x from the credit card. Is that correct?
