My Chase Visa linked ok, as I recall, in MY.
I linked the card, but payment failed after the ride with a HSBC MC. I generally use at least two cards with Grab. Worked ok this way in SG, MY, KH, TH, VN. (Loca in LA, no Grab.)
If payment with a credit card fails, you can retry with the same or different card. In fact you have to resolve the credit card payment fail or must pay with cash on the next ride.
