Any recent FT experience with PG Bangkok Airways?

I'm going to USM in Janaury

LAX-HKG (on separate ticket)
<1 day stop>
HKG-USM (on PG economy "Y" booking code)
<5 nights>
USM-SIN (on PG economy "K" booking code)
<3 days stop>
SIN-LAX (on separate ticket)

I'm interested in recent FT experience both in-flight and at the airports. Both PG segments are booked in economy although for some reason I was assigned seat 1F on the USM-SIN segment, which ExpertFlyer is showing A319 equipment with 24 rows of seat. On Seatguru, the 24 rows version of A319 shows up as having a "Blue Ribbon" J class in row 1-3. Is this another Seatguru mistake? Should I be worried that this seat assignment is going to be tossed and I end up in a middle seat all the way back in the last row?

The HKG-USM segment is on all-Y 25 row configuration A319.

I'm planning to travel with standard size carry on suitcase but I read on Bangkok Airways' website that there is a 5kg carry on and 20kg checked baggage allowance. So that means I will have to check my standard size carry on suitcase? There is no way that will be under 5 kg.

I was offered a choice of meals at booking but I didn't pick any... I assume PG will have similar meal presentation as standard mainline legacy carriers in Asia (meaning much better than US or European short haul) or is that not a good assumption?

I already researched FF program to credit and reached the conclusion that there is no realistic option other than PG's own program. Unless FT knows something the internet at large doesn't...
