Yes, a standard AeroGold allows the benefits you mention on AE, though the Privlidge version allows most benefits on all fares, save the 4x MLL accesses (ymmv). Plus 6x PPL access on any fare. Worth a trial run, depending on your patterns wouldn’t you say?
That said, a good chance I may nix mine if AC doesn’t smarten up their Dash8 + CRA offerings Western Canada. Plenty of uncertainty yet about the entire program.
The 4 x MLL may only be used in conjunction with an Aeroplan ticket on AC and redeemed from the Aeroplan account attached to the credit card. You may use the remaining MLL passes to guest someone into the MLL if that person is booked on the same PNR with you.
AC's Signature lounge is not permitted even if one is redeeming a business class reward ticket on AC.
