I cannot think of a place to ask this question on FT (except here) that will get the advice of local Londoners. So please forgive me (and/or ignore this post) as this is a post not related to BA.

Can anyone recommend a car service to or from LHR? If I take the Heathrow Express for two people it will cost 24 pounds. Add the taxi from Paddington to my destination (Regent Street) and it could be close to 40 pounds. I was wondering if there are decent car services that would take you from LHR for the same price or lower? Tube is out of the question from Paddington because of the bags. Can anyone recommend car services?
