I did speak to flying blue who said they could link the reservations but I don't think that is true, since another agent told me it is not possible and I think they just meant crossreferencing the booking.
People say link as a synonym for cross reference. It's the same.

You don't give details, but it is feasible to take a train from AMS to your destination? Remember, there's a station in the basement of the airport, with many routes not requiring a change at Amsterdam CS.
