I also didn't recommend JW Marquis in Dubai,
Using SNA but suite are not ready in 4 pm and given a low floor, the executive lounge is jam packed with American , If you stayed in Tower B you have to taking elevator to main level and waiting the elevator to tower A with those wanna to be people who didn't stay at the hotel but coming for the bar, how much time you want to waste just for going to the breakfast? Horrible experience during the HH time where in the very middle of food section , it's the only one that with chef serving food, that night is curry with rice, I approached to him twice he just stand there and said nothing, while another people with difference race and color to him he said goodeveving sir to everyone besides me( I'm the only Asian at the moment).
This is the second time I experience such experience with uncomfortable feelings, the first I still remember was in LM Saigon, which that night during HH the club lounge manger come to desk by desk to greeted elite member but skips me, yes she saw me but skips me. I would never remember thing like this .
I would recommend spg property at the marina side which would be more suitable for tourists.
I usually stand by Marriott side when it comes to team spg vs team Marriott, but this travel to Egypt and UAE certainly changes my positive experience with marriott brands.
Worst marriott hotel I ever stayed with: hurghada marriott
Chef with race problems in his mind or whatever stereotype he had: JWM dubai
Wrong charges and bad attitude, does not feel sorry at all to its customer: JW Marriott Cairo
