Oh great. Just when your stories were getting me somewhat relaxed about my weekend MR, I find THIS out.
So, if I'm making the turn at Long Beach (a small airport w/ 12 gates 1-9 and 21-23, where everyone else is essentially done/not making a connection) the announcement is going to be something like this:
FA searches for cue card since she has never made this announcement on the SEA-LGB-SEA route...
"(For some strange reason) I have connecting gate information. We will be arriving at gate 22. If you are flying back on this plane with us to SEA (in 35 minutes), you will be departing from Gate 22."
"For everyone else, welcome home or enjoy your stay in SoCal."
I went to the LGB website and looked at "all" the departures and arrivals:

The only AS flights are back and forth to SEA, so it's certain I'll be on the same plane, right? Since it's probably a SEA based crew, they won't be staying in LGB, right?
Knowing this, I can make every intention to have fun and try to win over the crew and make their day more enjoyable as well. I want to see exactly how much fun I can have, so that I can report back next week here with a competitively funny story.
If nothing else, I am planning to affirm Long Beach Airport's claim:
Known as the Region's "Easy In, Easy Out" Airport, Long Beach Airport hosts Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, ...
