I'm doing some home renovation work and trying to put it on a 0% APR card so I can float the spend. My contractor doesn't take credit card so I'm looking at Plastiq. I'm considering the Discover It Miles card - which is 1.5% cash back and then they double it (in the first year) - so it would be 3% - which would easily cover the 2.5% fee and then some. Trying to find some data points that the Plastiq charge would code to earn miles with that card but haven't seen any. Does anyone have any experience with that card specifically? The Plastiq chart shows that paying a contractor with a Discover card should be okay. Thanks.
