In hind site I suppose my op might have been a bit of an overreaction. After mistakes happen and I did manage to get on the plane in the end. Worst case scenario I would have bought a walk up ticket for less than 200 bucks. I suppose I just amazed at how difficult amending the ticket was and felt utterly helpless for a while there.
