Hi All:

I am booked on a Scoot flight TR2 from SIN to SYD in ScootPlus (their J) departing SIN at 02.10am. However, I am arriving into SIN on a BA flight from LHR arriving 3.15pm the day before (i.e, in the afternoon on the Saturday, with the Scoot flight departing on the Sunday morning at 2.10am).

I will have checked baggage on the LHR-SIN flight and will therefore need to pass through immigration and go landslide to collect my bags. While the layover is long, I would like to avail of some lounges (I have access via Priority Pass and Amex Platinum card) for the duration of the layover.

To do this I will obviously have to check in and drop off my bags before going airside to sty in the lounges. The Sccot website indicates that you can use the automated checkin and bag drop up to 18 hours before departure, so this *seems* doable, but upon some further investigation this appears to only work if the 18 hours are on the same day as the flight. (With a 2.10am departure, this obviously only 2+ hours into a new day.)

So in summary, has anyone tried this before and know if I can check in and drop off bags some 6-7 hours early for this flight? if not, are there any landside lounges I can use? Alternatively, any on-airport hotel options for day use? Finally failing that, is there a left luggage that will allow me to head into the city for the evening and return to the airport for a c. midnight checkin?
