The EA at this location is sad for a major metro area airport (usually I am at smaller airports that don't really have an EA). They had a ton of Nissan Altimas and a ton of some kind of Chevrolet model that escapes me. They have the trunks open on all of the vehicles probably because they are embarrassed to show the lack of variety regarding what they put into their EA here.

I hung out for about 10 minutes and got a little Hyundai SUV which only had a few thousand miles on it and was pretty happy with it.

I wasn't happy with the 15+ minute wait to get through the exit gate; two exit gates were open and the line was snaking into the aisles for both.

Definitely do not suggest using National at this airport if you are counting on some sort of a slam dunk vehicle. Alamo's rates were about 40% cheaper during my visit and frankly I don't think I would have done any worse there (and assuming the Alamo has skip the counter check in, wait time would have probably been exactly the same too). I booked National because I wanted a faster rental experience, better vehicle selection, and also due to the One Two Free promotion.
