I have to agree CX catering has gone down hill fast. The new service is very slow to begin with. I can not understand why on a route like JFK>HKG in Business they are offering the beef burger for a main course, as well as a snack. What ever happened to the beef tenderloin? Flew HKG SEA and same thing was offered, the Beef burger was also offered as a main course, it was presented badly, very sloppy, burger patty half off the bottom bun, soggy bottom bum, top bun tasted stale, beef patty was dry, so i sent it back and had th chicken, which was tasteless. Thus I skipped the burger on the return flight JFK>HKG and had the wok fried pork, portions were ridiculously small. Had the congee for breakfast, it has no taste, asked for soy sauce, they had none. Asked for an Oriental Delight with the warm nuts at the beginning of the flight and was told they were out of it already, 20 minutes into the JFK HKG flight. Asked for another of bottle of water during the flight, they were out, but offered to refill the bottom I had. Very disappointed this past trip to be honest, I expect better quality when paying 2 for Business class seats.
