I've made a few same-day reservations in the past months, even on a Sunday when the GP desk is closed, Reservations still made the reservation and just had the GP desk debit my account when they got back in the office the next day. Just a note about on-line reservations, for some reason the Orange County (Anaheim/Garden Grove) does not show up on the list of available hotels, so I always have to call in for a reservation there. Makes me wonder if some other properties are missing from the on-line res list.
