SQ's policy say all staff are to fly Y even flight crew BUT more often than not, they 'buddy buddy' up with the station manager or check in manager and get themselves upgraded to F.

The folks that most often enjoy this privelege are cockpit crew and families/ management staff.

my FA friend said that she VERY often sees crew in F. she says the staffs' status us noted in the boarding passes.
