I will assume that this is not on one ticket but two, in which case you don't have a connection. I hope therefore that you have left a lot of time between these flights because if you do not show up for your Oman flight on time, your ticket will auto-cancel and you'll have to buy a new ticket. This is especially relevant if you have to collect checked luggage, in which case you'll definitely have to pass through both passport and security checks.
