referring to Nik_Jr post regarding LH refusal to rebook F ticket with cash upgrade to another connection in F

it could be that LH changed the rules regarding rebooking tickets with cash upgrades. I had a case two weeks ago: intra-Europe LH flight with cash upgrade to C.
Incoming LH flight was diverted (go-around due to wind conditions) to another airport and my flight was "delayed" to a following day. LH SEN hotline refused to rebook to a LOT connection in C. Rebooked in booking class Y, cash upgrade amount refunded within a day. Okay, I received 1563X2 reward and status miles for this instead of 938X2.(and zero HON Miles instead of 938X2 but I couldnt care less about that)
