Capsule hotels that cater to businessman (not tourists) typically kick you out during daytime

You can look for capsule hotels that explicitly offer better options: eg, I tried this one last year which allows you to store large luggage under bed for your whole stay, and capsule is full-height not half height

Note that Tokyo regulations don't allow locks on capsule hotel doors. I believe Kyoto regulations allow

Eg, a lot of capsule hotels are male only(or single gender per floor), while the one above offers mixed floors (with female only floors for security )
