Your flight is quite a long way away, and business travellers with status, who are the people competing for seats here, simply would not have booked anything at this stage, or may cancel. FLY will keep you together, we very rarely get complaints of even large families getting split up, but whether you would get a window seat is very much open to question. If getting a window seat is pretty important, then you need to consider whether you want to pay or whether you can get Bronze status quickly.
On that service, due to the sun, the starboard side is better. But there is a big bias to the port side when it comes to seat selection. Bit daft, there is more footfall on port, but that's another matter.

Is it likely that at 7 days a lot of availability will disappear because of Bronze members?
And sorry if it's obvious but what is 'FLY' that will keep us together? I looked in the glossary but could find anything!
