But the good news is that whatever you are waiting for (ie security, immigration) it will still be far better than what non-Americans without a priority ie Global Entry etc would experience at LAX or most US port of entry airports. Even as an 'other' passport holder the queues at immigration are not lengthy. Certainly no 2-3 hour waits have been reported that I have ever seen for FRA!
Luggage takes longer at FRA than at MUC in my experience, but I am usually first down in baggage claim so someone who does not use an EU/Schengen lane and who walks at a more average speed and perhaps stops for a break on the way may arrive just a few minutes before baggage arrives.
