AS Economy seat pitch is around 31-32", so for that reason alone you might want to upgrade. I actually found Economy in the 737-900s to not be bad (admittedly for LAX-SEA), and I imagine the 737-700 has the same style of seats.

Digiplayers cam be reserved for $10 for Economy passengers, otherwise there is no in-flight entertainment (video or audio).
