Curious....any idea how often they run searches against the hotel(s) databases? It has been my experience that the harder to reach points hotels open availability only lasts hours. Even Flyertalk, that has access to immediate database updates takes hours to send out alerts.

I don't know exactly. Room availability don't last few hours. I had to extend my stay at this hotel and was waiting for a transfer of points from my wife's account, after 24 hours the room was still available (for February, 2 months ago).
