Stroller combo

My wife and I are having a debate about our upcoming Thanksgiving travel. This will be our first time travelling with 2 kids (one 2 years, other 3 months).

Wife's suggestion: Take the UPPAbaby Vista with the rumble seat and the infant car seat. Gate check all of the above in the UB bags.
Pro: always have ability to contain both kids, fewer strollers to deal with
Con: A lot of parts to manage at gate check, can't separate at destination, have to leave behind toddler seat

Mine: Take the britax b-agile with infant car seat attached and the umbrella stroller. Check in umbrella at counter and gate check the rest.
Pro: less to manage beyond security, Have 2 strollers on trip
Con: can't really contain toddler beyond security

Anyone who has traveled with 2 under 3 (especially with the UB) before have any thoughts?

First, most obvious answer is of course, listen to wife because she's always right. But if there's anyone with actual experience that would be better.
If relevant, taking a 2.5 ish hour flight and then renting a car. Spending 3.5 days at destination.
