Hi,

I will potentially be flying to Helsinki next year for a business conference but the return flight would be on the same day as my TP year end. I have coincidently just flown back from Helsinki today which will see me get Bronze status but another flight in CE would get me close to silver once the NCL domestic transfer is priced in.

Knowing that BA tier points generally take 48 hours or so to process, would the the points be credited to the year in which the flight was made or the year in which they were posted? Would BA be able to retrospectively apply them to the previous year in the case that they were applied to the new TP collection period?

I tried to speak to BA on twitter but got a rather unhelpful response of "It depends when the points get processed."
