FWIW Hyatt and Hilton waive resort fees when all points/no cash are used for an award stay.
The difference between Hyatt and Marriott has become staggering - I've considered a status match, but I don't really feel like chasing hotel status anymore after SPG LT Platinum. Now I just look at AirBNB where there isn't a reasonable alternative with Marriott.
