Well, MAD is known to have sometimes long queues for the Schengen Border. With an EU passport you can use the e-gates, but with a non-EU passport you have to queue for an officer, and they are normally in short supply.

Should your first flight be late or the queue big, do not hesitate to ask around to jump the queue ("por favor, puedo pasar, mi vuelo sale pronto")
