So the snack boxes are not available on 737 flights.

I asked for one last night as I had not had anything to eat and did not get to a lounge to eat before the flights. Was told as it was only an hour flight they do not sell snack boxes. I explained I was a 1K so they went to look for a snack box.

A different FA returned and I was told they do not cater snack boxes and asked why I thought one was available on such a short flight. One hour SFO-SAN. I explained about my SAN-LAX flight and the FA was surprised. They did have alcohol but without food that was not something I needed!

So am still confused about snack boxes being available on short flights.

Perhaps they are only available on short flights on commuter jets.
