Why would anything happen? I doubt these are routes that are critical to the success (or otherwise) of approval the takeover

The big things to wonder about are:

a) will this be approved, given the concentration that IAG would have at MAD
b) whether UX will leave Skyteam (but as they seem to wish to merge UX into IB this seems inevitable).
