I'm not allergic to feathers and I prefer foam pillows. I don't ever call a hotel to ask for special pillows because its already noted in my Marriott profile.
I marked in my profile and called every time. I feel most hotels don't look at your profile. A few occasions they don't comply even I called. But when I am in the room and find feather pillows, I always insist that housekeeping to redo the whole room, all sheets, vacuum again, etc.
I also think that Holiday Inn carry feather pillows too.
