AC Maple Leaf Lounge Paid Access-Worth It?
Flying next month YVR-YYC-LHR-CAI on an AC ticket. The LHR-CAI leg is operated by Egyptair.
I keep seeing under Manage My Bookings on the AC website an offer to buy Maple Leaf access for CAD 26.95. Am I correct in thinking I'd be able to get lounge access at YVR, YYC, and LHR? While it would be nice to sit in a lounge and have a drink in YVR and YYC, it's very important for me to have a lounge at LHR to shower, freshen up etc.
The rules clearly state that lounge access is given at departing and connecting airport. However, what if I have 2 connecting airports (YYC and LHR)? Will the fact that LHR-CAI is operated by MS (with an AC codeshare) make any difference?
Any thoughts and input would be greatly appreciated.
