I’ve had multiple options (2-3) in the past on this route and to JFK too so I’m not sure. Also, it’s not the route you’d want to skimp on if I were LH, but then again logic doesn’t always carry the day.
I have always understood that the route makes no difference to the Champagne inventory, when chatting to Pursers, Monthly offering out to be the same & it’s on the longer flights there is more chance of them running out.... although thankfully this past Year they do seem to be loading more
