Personally I wouldn't book a 1 hour connection if there was a reasonable alternative, simply for the stress if the first flight is running even a little late. You won't have any time to dawdle. If you do miss your connection, you'll be protected (assuming this is on one ticket), and rebooked on the next available flight and given hotel accommodation as required. And there'll be a low chance of getting seats all together if you are rebooked.

A lot of people make short connections every day though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much if you're already booked.
