Under SPG, this would have been an eligible charge. We used to buy various services (helicopter tours, snorkel, luau, tickets) through the hotel concierges and charge to the room. It all posted and would earn points. Hell, even parking would earn point, a big factor when considering expensive onsite parking in urban areas as compared to cheap mass transit.
Under BonVoy, we charge as little as possible to the room because there’s much reduced value in doing so.
