That brings me to the crux of the matter, seat opponent elasticity.
For that reason alone, I make sure that in any 2x2 configuration that I’m seated next to a short passenger that will curl up rather than a tall passenger that will stretch (but emphasis on a comfort curl, not a more morbid curl as a key to a quick deplaning is that all passengers who walked on can still walk off following any curling or stretching). Oasis may challenge that notion but that’s for another thread.
