I was half joking. I'm sure they do have many claims coming in each day, but as Marriott should know full well - prices are dynamic and changing sometimes even hourly. So taking 24-hours to get back to a claim is almost always going to result in Marriott's favor, which is why you see so many denied claims.
my complaint is not so much that they take 24 hours to respond....its that they deny claims for strange reasons when the lower claim is still available....another problem stems from different geographical locations....i could see a rate here in india that may not be available in the location where the brg agent is checking the claim....
taking a long time to respond doesn't help as well but i typically get responses in 10-12 hours....
