Question Status through pure quantity of short cheap flights possible?

I can fly extremely cheaply form Majorca to the Spanish part of the Iberian Peninsula and back with e.g. AirEuropa.

The flights are cheap already, but since I have a registered residence on the island, after providing my ID I can book with directly 75% off, even on luggage.

The Spanish state pays the difference directly to the airline. Its one of the few bits of Spain's market interventions I would not want to give up.

We are speaking about prices below 10 € per flight.

Its very absurd since Majorca is the opposite of an economically disadvantaged part of Spain – but this actually isn't the worst policy to help with a nationwide exchange of culture and business. Spain today still reacts to Franco's relatively recent suppressive way of uniting Spain's regions, with a counter movement, pushing separatism, regional languages etc.

There are people on Majorca who have never seen the sea. The typical Spaniard hasn't travelled more than to Disneyland Paris, struggles with English and sometimes Spanish, and doesn't even know his own country properly. People don't identify as Spanish but as from the specific region. This might change it and help strengthen this very southern European economy and help people love the country that extends from wolfs to chameleons and from mountain cheeses to Atlantic lobsters.

I want the Spanish state to finance my SkyMiles status, because, why not? Can this be achieved given that I fly the lowest booking class and don't really collect miles but still can easily do a lot of flights?

Thanks!
