Wine List

Champagne

Piper Heidsieck Rare Millesime 2002, Champagne, France
This, the prestige cuvee from Piper Heidsieck is a deeply intense wine with a flavour that lingers for many moments. The nose expresses its self with hazelnuts, white flowers and stone fruit while the palate fills with rich, but delicate flavours. It's the acidity that keeps this champagne fresh and leaves you needing more.

White

Heemskerk Riesling 2017, Tasmania
Heemskerk is a boutique winery located in Tasmania's Coal River Valley devoted to producing contemporary wines from ancient soils. This Riesling is a blend of two great vineyards presenting lifted aromatics of white flowers and citrus blossom. As a delicate expression of what can be an austere varietal, the palate is soft and plush with beautiful acidity and length.

Gembrook Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Ian and June Marks decided that this vineyard was ideal for cool climate Sauvignon Blanc and went on to produce one of the most elegant examples of the varietal in Australia. Sensitivity in the vineyard develops exotic tropical fruits, balancing them with savoury herbs and wild currant leaf. A deft hand in the winery results in gentle texture and weight making this a mineral wine with true finesse.

Penfolds Bin 17A Chardonnay 2017, Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Hailing from Penfolds' birth place in the Adelaide Hills, the Bin 17A is truly one of their greatest triumphs. This wine consistently wins trophies at domestic wine shows, and at international competitions like the Cellars in the Sky competition. This chardonnay walks the line between power and freshness like none other, and today it continues to get better and better.

Red

Tolpuddle Pinot Noir 2018, Tasmania
Tolpuddle Vineyard was established in 1988 in the Coal River Valley, Tasmania. The 2016 Pinot Noir is ruby red with crimson tints at the rim. A beautifully scented wine, with hints of blueberry, cedar and Chinese five spice. The palate is light on its feet, with a firm core of fruit and a layered texture.

Levantine Hill Syrah 2015, Yarra Valley, Victoria
For a young winery, Levantine Hill are producing some sophisticated styles that are beautiful expressions of the region. All grapes are harvested, sorted and plunged by hand. Coming from a cool climate, this Shiraz presents medium bodied and savoury, abundant with characters drawn from the earth. Subtle yet complex, underlying oak carries the fruit weight for a lingering finish.

Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Margaret River, Western Australia
Planted in 1969, Moss Wood is an important, founding estate of the Margaret River region. Small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot contribute a little extra complexity and aromatics. Deep and dense in colour notes of cassis, wild bramble, violet, spearmint and anise come forward. A generous palate retains freshness and vigour amongst earthiness and oak.

Dessert

Lillypilly Noble Blend 2015, Riverina, New South Wales
This is one stunningly aromatic dessert wine with tropical fruits and glorious fresh vital passionfruit, lychees and pineapple. This wine is a lighter style with lively acidity supporting the fruit characters. Sweet but balanced and seamless in delivery, it will leave you wanting more.
