AL (T2) Connection LHR from HNG (T3) (Seperate tickets)
Hi Folks,
My TA agent couldn't get my flights under 1 ticket.
Outbound - DUB -> HNG -> PNG
Return PNG -> HNG -> (LHR -> DUB)
The (LHR-> DUB) flight is a separate AL ticket, the rest is Cathay PAcific
My TA, "Cathay Pacific might not check you through to Dublin on the way back and if we do that you’d have to collect your check-in bag in Heathrow and take it to the Aer Lingus baggage drop desk in Terminal 2 (your Cathay flight arrives into Terminal 3 ) … also in the event that there was a delay in the arrival time of your flight from Hong Kong neither Cathay Pacific nor Aer Lingus would accept any responsibility for a missed connection"
So my question is this definitively a no hoper? According to below calculations, there's no way I can do this with checked baggage? I have to carry on only.
LHR T3 Arrive 20:15
-45min Bag drop 20:20
-25min Boarding 20:40
LHR T2 Depart 22:05
Thanks,
LK.
