How did it come about that a rep informed you that one seat is available for a cheaper fare? I've never heard of this happening, and normally when you purchase two tickets on the same PNR, you pay the higher fare for both if only one is available at a lower fare.

Was it a DL voucher/credit or a genuine transferable gift card?
