Calm down guys , even though 4A is a window , all the other seats could be blocked for various reasons . I was bumped up from a J reward ticket to F on the A340 a few years ago , I was given 1D , which I presumed was the window 1-1-1-1 seating , how wrong I was , and how quickly I moved when told who's seat I was sitting in . After a brief conversation ( with his royal highness ) I couldn't want that sliding door to close quick enough ..My point being , on several routes operated by Etihad , you never know who wants a ticket now , so seats are blocked in case of a late arrival , most of the time in F , not even sold ( except the residence of course ) ...And the reason for my upgrade , several members of the Sheiks party have to be very close , but not that close
