We (couple) will stay in Bali for 7 days. For the first 2 days we booked the RC already. During the other 5 days we plan to visit around Komodo for a 2 nights trip.
As we are flying in directly from Europe and spend 3 more weeks in Asia after Bali we will have a lot of luggage with us that we don't want to carry around to Komodo.
So the plan is to book a not so pricey Bonvoy property for the whole 5 days and use it 3 days and the other 2 days just as secure luggage storage.
What would be the best option here? Also in terms of status benefits (at the moment Plat) and location. I heard Kuta should be avoided. Plan for the 3 days we stay there would be touring around the usual tourist spots like Temples and so on. And is it worth redeeming points here or better use cash rates? Like 70K for 5 nights in the Element seems quite fair to me.
