I had the same on an “all one ticket” connecting itinerary- DPS-KUL segment was fine to get a mobile boarding pass, KUL-KTM I had to get from the counter (didn’t need a visa for either)

I think G gates is in the main terminal, in which case the transfer desk is in front of the model planes (I think)- it’s well marked either way
