Your statement that "these makes/mdoels are examples of what you could get" is precisely false and the essence of my issue here. There was zero chance that I could get a Velar or anything else classified at the K4 level because they don't exist at the location and haven't for sometime, and yet they are still advertised.
The “reserve this exact model” concept is something I wish all rental car companies would do away with entirely. Cars get wrecked, require service, get an unauthorized one-way drop, get unexpectedly sold... there’s simply no way to ever guarantee a particular vehicle, thus irritating customers like yourself.

I your case, wouldn’t this be a local management issue? I presume that if the local manager knows their fleet has been depleted of K4’s, they have the responsibility to ensure reservations has that class blocked as a sellout.
