But the rules don't require it to be in the seatback pocket. They specifically state you can put the battery back into the bag, just not in the battery compartment. So now you've got a battery that starts smoldering and catches fire potentially surrounded by flammable polyester clothing?! And the suitcase still needs to be unzipped to access it and get the battery into the containment bag, although I suppose perhaps that's still easier than trying to open the plastic battery compartment cover that's melted and fused to the bag. Hmm.
