Famous Dave's is a barbecue restaurant which later became a chain. I believe there was one on Clark for a while in Chicago, but am pretty sure it closed. Back when there was only one in Hayward it was pretty good; don't think the other locations have been the same quality.

Plus there was always the fact that going to the Hayward location meant I had a brief respite from the summer camp food I would have been eating otherwise.
