They got kinda weird boarding AC 574 this morning. A bunch of us jumped the gun when they made an announcement talking about Zone 1 but not actually boarding anybody.

This included including two deadheading AC pilots connecting to a later SFO-YYZ flight. They were right behind me and I heard them say that they felt bad rushing the gate ahead of the Zone 1 cattle call.

I turned around and said that it was our turn to be poorly behaved and to act like gate lice for once. Not a term they had heard before. They were most amused and said they would use that in the future.

If that's not evangelising, I don't know what is.
